There will be no more show and tell for the rest of the year!

Show and Tell is an important part of our curriculum.  It improves speaking skills and allows your child to feel special.  I ask you to help your child remember their show and tell day.  If a student forgets they must wait until the following week.  Please understand that this is due to avoiding "overcrowding" on a particular day if several students forget, in addition to teaching responsibilty.

 

These spelling words will be introduced throughout our Saxon phonics program.  They will be taught during a particular lesson (which is noted.)  They will be black when I teach this lesson and should be reveiwed regularly at home after the lesson has been taught.  The sight words will be highlighted in red... again, please review!  Your child will bring home their phonics sheet when completed in class so you will know what lesson we are on.  This will also be noted in the weekly newsletter.  Regular review at home helps tremendously!
